About OneLove

Hi, I’m Yvonne Lumsden. Reiki and healing has been an integral part of my life for the last 15 yrs since meeting my master, Jan Smith who I met at a healing fair in Middlesex in the UK.

I am qualified and practice Holistic Massage and Aromatherapy as I believe that human touch can heal, inspire and nurture, the mind, body and soul.  I also understand the challenges of the mind. As a qualified and experienced psychiatric nurse with a Post Graduate Diploma in Addictive Behaviour, I specialise in providing counselling to people with substance misuse problems and their families.

With Awakening Within I work with people to heal on all levels. Awakening Within – Love Intimacy, Sexuality – provides a sacred space for people to experience, heal, and deepen intimacy in their lives. I co-facilitate Awakening Within retreats with Andrew Barnes.

My art work of flowers is a further conduit to healing. I use a lens to delve into what’s beyond the naked eye and find my images assist people to feel - to connect with the essence of the flower and to see the hidden beauty and depth within. Every one my images is a journey of healing – photographed from the heart.
